SUMMARY:Auckland Hole\, Hamilton Hole
DESCRIPTION:Saturday 12th August meet ASG hut 9am. We’ll pick up stragglers at HTG around 9:15am if that suites better.Numbers are limited to 8 persons due to the logistical nature of the cave. All need to be fully competant and independant with SRT\, have access to a decent wetsuite and bring a 3m length of webbing or cord.Weve got several options for the traverse\, the exact route to be decided closer to the day by most popular demand – We can all go Auck Hole to Hamilton Hole or we could do a crossover Auck Hole / Hamland Hole in two partys. Or some variation. Yes three entrance options.The entrance pitches are large (AH 90m HH 80m) and there are pitches and squeezes in between. The Mangapu stream passage we’ll traverse using inner tubes which will be provided. A wet suite is mandatory at this time of year.
