Trips
Auckland Speleo Group runs a variety of trips, catering for all abilities from beginners upwards in terms of both general caving and rope skills. From almost dry walk-through caves to challenging vertical systems with waterfalls and rope descents, we visit all the caves that New Zealand has to offer.
It is important that you contact the trip leader as early as possible to register your interest and guarantee yourself a place. Some trips have restricted numbers of participants and trips will only go ahead if there are sufficient numbers. The club welcomes new members and takes an interest in training and developing their caving skills.

March Working Bee / Day Caving trip

Its time for the great annual ASG working bee to get the the hut ready for another season of caving!
A spring clean and some repairs are in order so don’t be shy at put your hand up for a fantastic weekend. Its a great way to meet people and have a good time. Please let me know if you are coming down so I know what to organize, no skills needed all training provided.Working bees have no hut fees. All members are welcome to help keep the hut up to the standard you expect to have available when you go to Waitomo.
It would be great to see some new faces on the working bee. We are planning on working on the Saturday and caving on the Sunday a trip to Haggis Hole is on the cards
