SUMMARY:Family Caving Weekend
DESCRIPTION:The plan is to enter at the Cleft of the Orcs\, which will involve a 30m abseil\, and then follow the stream all the way through to the Downstream exit.\n\nDepending on the group’s energy levels\, we have some options to add a couple of side tours to either the upper levels or down towards Henry VIII.\n\nThis will be quite a long day of caving\, so it’s recommended that you be well-prepared with extra layers\, batteries\, and food.\n\nI’m organizing the weekend\, but you will be pleased to hear that Dave Ellacot\, a much more experienced Caver than myself\, will be leading underground\, so have no fear!\n\nIt will be a full weekend of caving\, with options on Sunday as well\, but this is still being discussed.\n\nSo please come and join us\, and you too will be able to look at that map and feel that you know the expansive Gardeners Gut a little more intimately…\n\nLooking forward to caving with you.\n\nSam\n\nLeader = Sam Blackmore \n
