SUMMARY:Search and rescue training event in Auckland
DESCRIPTION:Tyrolean traverse practice \nWe’ll be practising moving a patient in a stretcher horizontally over a hazard (usually a vertical drop within a cave). We’ll be doing this at ground level between two trees\, but it’s a great opportunity to see lots of rigging concepts in action. \nAll levels of experience welcome. There will be a lot to set up (3:1 systems\, anchors\, putting the stretcher together\, being a stretcher patient)\, so something for everyone even if you’d just like to observe. \nParking the south western corner on Parau Street.
