We are an enthusiastic group of cavers exploring caves all around New Zealand. At Waitomo we have our own hut with magnificent views overlooking the Waitomo Valley. Our group meets once a month at different venues around Auckland. Club trips are held regularly and offer a wide variety of caves for all types of abilities and fitness levels. Caves named so far include HOOT, GARDNERS, MURCHIES but the leader is open. Bring along a friend and show them what you get up to underground in the weekends! We're staying at the club hut AWAITRO. Venue: WESTERN UNDERWATER DIVE CLUB Murray has arranged a talk presented by the local Auckland Search and Rescue Police representative. Should be a very imformative evening listening to the do's and don't's and how ASG can assist in Cave SAR. The venue is located at 5 Portage Road, New Lynn.
